Welcome to Chained Oak Farm
Bed and Breakfast near Alton Towers

 

Chained Oak Farm is set in its own grounds of 24 acres of woodland. The house overlooks the churnet valley; the views are magnificent designated as 'an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.

The woodlands now belonging to Chained Oak Farm were formally owned by Alton Towers, the former seat of the Earl of Shrewsbury.

Chained Oak farm is located directly opposite Alton Towers theme park. It is a short 10 minute walk from the farm to the main ticket booth. The short distance eliminates any traffic problems and car park fees.

Our recently converted stable block is now ready for bookings. The brand new facility includes double, twin and family rooms all with en-suite and access to a covered BBQ veranda.

Chained Oak Farm is also the ideal location for a winter break. The unspoilt picturesque village of Alton provides breathtaking winter vistas.

Accommodation Facilities

 

 

All rooms are on ground level and have their own entrance enabling easy access for children and wheelchair users.

• All rooms have tea / coffee making facilities, TV with DVD player and en-suite bathrooms
• Single rooms, twin bedded rooms, double rooms and two family rooms.
• The largest of the family rooms accommodates six persons and has a shower & bath.
• Dining room for guest use if they decide to order take-away meals
• Lounge with an open log fire, TV, Video, DVD and CD player
• BBQ with table and chairs fridge and utensils etc.
